NEM Data Interchange

'Data Interchange' is a software product set provid by AEMO to National Electricity Market Participants. This product set facilitates the data interchange requirements between AEMO and market participant systems and provides a bi-directional data feeds between participant system and AEMO.

A previous product set widely used by market participants since the start of NEM, using an Oracle to Oracle replication technology (named as Replica Server) was discontinued and replaced by the Data Interchange Product set during early 2008.

Data Interchange product set can be used on both Oracle and SQLServer database technologies. Continuous evolvement of the market requires the changes to the datastreams, with properly managed implementations at participant ends.

INSIGHTPOWER has been actively engaged in the NEM data delivery systems and related Data Replication technology since the beginning of NEM in Dec 1998.
